Validation :- The process of checking whether entered data meets certain
conditions or limitations.
VDT (Video display terminal) :- A video output device that can employ a CRT, a
liquid crystal display, or an array of light emitting diodes.

:- A system which allows easy searching across Gopher sites.
Version :- A title given to the updates of software, i.e., Version 2.1.
VFAT (Virtual File Allocation Table) :- The 32-bit file system that Windows 95 uses
to manage information stored on disks. This replaces the FAT system used by DOS.
VGA (Video Graphics Array) :- A widely used monitor for personal computers. It
features 640x480 resolution and 256 colors (8 bit graphics).
Virtual Reality (VR) :- A technology that allows you to experience and interact with
the image on the computer screen in a simulated three-dimensional environment.
Virtual Memory :- Method of using hard disk space to provide extra memory.
Simulates additional RAM.
Virus :- An unauthorized piece of potentially damaging computer code attached to a
computer program or portions of a computer system that secretly spreads from one
computer to another through shared disks and over telephone lines.
